When you use OnTheBag, we collect: your account email, golf shot data (club used, distance, lie type, outcome), round conditions, and personal statistics. We do NOT collect location data, biometric data, or contact information beyond email.
Your shot data trains the AI caddie to improve recommendations. Your statistics are used to calculate trends and summaries. We use your email only to contact you about account issues or product updates (which you can unsubscribe from anytime).
Your data is stored on Supabase (our database provider). Your shot history is processed by Anthropic's API to generate caddie recommendations. Payments are handled by RevenueCat. We never sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices. Your data lives on secure servers and is deleted within 7 days of account deletion.
You can export your data as CSV anytime. You can request deletion of any data. You can correct inaccuracies. Email privacy@onthebag.golf with any request and we'll respond within 10 business days.
If you're in the EU, you have rights under GDPR: access, correction, deletion, portability. We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with our providers. See our full GDPR addendum at gdpr@onthebag.golf.
The OnTheBag app does not use cookies. This website uses minimal analytics (Plausible) which respects your privacy and does not track across sites.
We'll notify you of material changes via email. Continued use means you accept the changes.
